Ouch! This Morgan Poll for 20 November 2012 must have hurt the MSM.
Strange! No opinion has been expressed of this poll from Dennis Shanahan, Janet Albrechtsen, Paul Kelly, Chris Kenny, Gerard Henderson, Niki Savva, Angela Shanahan, Greg Sheridan, Arthur Sinodonis, Judith Sloane, Paul Sheehan, Piers Ackerman, Andrew Bolt, et al.
I suppose they are following the advice of Abraham Lincoln:
“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt”.
It isn’t so much the Dr. NO syndrome. What is really worrisome is that he is a misguided, undisciplined, confused, self-centred and power driven individual. Flawed characters put in a position way out of their comfort zone and beyond their capacity to handle are a recipe for disaster! OZ simply can not afford someone like him at the helm! Despite constant MSM disinformation campaigns it should not have taken this long for the general public to come to this conclusion! I guess, better late than never!

You have nailed the Abbott persona to a “t”. In particular the ape-like gait and the lack of concern for us poor buggers being force-fed his use of lies that, well, just keep going “…up and up and up”.

On a serious note, the two posters above are spot on. How can the great unwashed even consider this policy-free zone as PM? I guess when you have the MSM as your cheer squad then half the battle for voters affections is won. As the fat lady has yet to sing, there is still a chance that Abbott will get his wish. The conservatives are terrified and that includes ABC management. As a result, they’re resorting to desperate measures. It would be very interesting, for example, to see who is behind the Ralph Blewitt (by name by nature) revelations. I would love to see IA investigate and expose this disgusting affair.

The MSM must be confused their propaganda is not bringing the results they expect & the ABC in particular are just continuing to ramp up the pro-Abbott bullshit to laughable levels.
Abbott is a nasty liar & bully, his simplistic rightwing extremist agenda in support of his elitist masters would be disasterous to the people of this country as PM. The vicious, dishonest & incompetent crowd who make up Abbott’s parliamentary team would finish the job.
I hope the electorate is not dumb enough to vote these LNP charletons back into office, but wouldn’t bet on it because the propaganda run by the MSM is exploiting the lack of political sophistication of many voters in the country.

THAT’S the phrase I have been trying to conjure. This is the one prime tool in the LNP’s toolbox that will get them back into power. Keep the electorate dumb through the LNP manipulated MSM and they will be easily controlled. Why else would Rabbitt keep talking in cadenced phrases? For example..’..on and on and on’ and up and up and up, &tc. I will bet both testes that One Trick Tony will pull out another within 3 months.
For some reason the following quote by Chuck Palahniuk always reminds me of Tony Abbott: “I am a rock. A jerk. I’m an uncaring asshole and proud of it.”
And today I have another confirmation of this. ABC News reports that Abbott has confirmed if the Coalition wins the next election he will slash Australia’s annual humanitarian refugee intake by 6,000 places.
This is a renege on his promise, earlier this year, to match Labor’s pledge to increase the intake to 20,000.
Abbott is a good example of a Bad Samaritan: false through and through.
